What are my Yahoo IMAP settings?

IMAP is imap.mail.yahoo.com on port 993 (SSL); SMTP is smtp.mail.yahoo.com on port 465. We detect these automatically from your address.

Why does my Yahoo password not work?

Yahoo requires an app password for IMAP clients. Create one at login.yahoo.com/account/security and use it instead of your normal password. It is revocable anytime.

Does Yahoo Calendar work?

Yes. Yahoo exposes CalDAV, so listing your events and creating new ones works once connected.

An app password (required)

Yahoo does not accept your normal password over IMAP. Create an app password under Account Security, name it anything, and paste it here.

Yahoo Mail works best with a revocable app password.
