What are my Zoho IMAP settings?

IMAP is imap.zoho.com on port 993 (imap.zoho.eu for EU accounts); SMTP is smtp.zoho.com on port 465. Make sure IMAP is enabled first.

Why does Zoho need IMAP turned on?

Zoho disables IMAP by default. Enable it under Settings → Mail Accounts → IMAP Access, otherwise no client, including us, can log in.

Do I need an app password for Zoho?

If two-factor authentication is enabled, yes: create an app-specific password in Zoho account security. It is revocable and safer than your main password.

Zoho ships with IMAP off. Turn it on under Settings → Mail Accounts → IMAP Access before connecting.

An app-specific password (with 2FA)

If two-factor auth is on, generate an application-specific password in Zoho account security and paste that here.

Zoho Mail works best with a revocable app password.
