What are my AOL IMAP settings?

IMAP is imap.aol.com on port 993 (SSL); SMTP is smtp.aol.com on port 465. Auto-detected from your address.

Do I need an app password for AOL?

Yes. Create one at login.aol.com/account/security. Your normal AOL password will be rejected by the mail servers.

I had a verizon.net address, does it work?

Yes. Verizon mail moved to AOL infrastructure; connect it with imap.aol.com and an AOL app password.
