Connect your Comcast Xfinity email to Claude & ChatGPT
Xfinity email is plain IMAP with one famous quirk: a "third-party access" switch that is off by default. Flip it, and anymailmcp.com connects your comcast.net inbox to your assistant.

Before you connect
What you need
Turn on third-party access
In Xfinity webmail: Settings, Security, then check "Allow access to my Xfinity Connect email through third-party programs". Without it, every mail app is rejected.
Your comcast.net address and password
The same credentials you use on xfinity.com. No app password needed once the switch is on.
Xfinity questions
The specifics for your provider.
Under the hood
