Connect your OVH email to Claude & ChatGPT

OVH mail, whether it came bundled with a domain, an MX Plan, or the new Zimbra platform, is plain IMAP with no OAuth. That is why Claude and ChatGPT can't reach it natively. anymailmcp.com does.

Before you connect

What you need

Your email address and password

The same credentials you use in the OVH webmail or in Thunderbird, usually your full address as the username.

On the legacy MX Plan: your mailbox password

The classic MX Plan has no app passwords: your normal mailbox password is the only key that exists, exactly as your desktop mail client uses it.

On the new Zimbra platform with 2FA: an app password

If your mail was migrated to OVH’s Zimbra platform and you have two-factor auth on, generate an application password in the Zimbra settings and paste that instead.

Under the hood

Server settings we auto-fill

You never type these. We detect them from your address and verify them live against OVH’s servers — they’re here for the curious.

Calendar: depends on your plan

Calendar sync is available on OVH’s new Zimbra platform, not on the legacy MX Plan. If your mailbox is on Zimbra, we auto-discover the CalDAV calendar when you connect; on the legacy platform there is no calendar to attach.
