HostGator email is cPanel underneath: standard IMAP, no OAuth, no native AI connector. anymailmcp.com connects your HostGator mailbox with the credentials you already use in webmail.

HostGator runs cPanel, and cPanel 102 and later ships CalDAV (cpdavd). We probe for the calendar on connect: if your gator server answers, it attaches; email works fully either way.
Before you start
What you need
Your email address and password
The mailbox you created under Email Accounts in cPanel. Username is your full email address.
Your mail hostname (usually auto-detected)
mail.yourdomain.com on 993 works in most setups. For SSL, HostGator points clients at the server name, like gator1234.hostgator.com, listed in your Customer Portal and cPanel.

- Open Settings → Connectors in Claude Desktop or claude.ai.
- Click Add custom connector and paste the URL below.
- Click Connect, then sign in with your email (we send you a magic link). You add your mailbox from your profile afterwards.
