What are my EarthLink IMAP settings?

IMAP is imap.earthlink.net on port 993 (SSL); SMTP is a different host, smtpauth.earthlink.net, on port 587 (STARTTLS). Auto-detected from your address.

My address is mindspring.com, is that supported?

Yes. MindSpring, Netcom (ix.netcom.com) and the other domains EarthLink absorbed all authenticate against the same imap.earthlink.net and smtpauth.earthlink.net servers.

Does my normal password work?

Yes. EarthLink accepts your regular email password over IMAP, with no third-party switch. If you turned on two-factor authentication, generate an app password from your EarthLink account security page and use that instead.

earthlink.net, mindspring.com, ix.netcom.com and the other EarthLink family domains all use the same servers. Use the full address as your username.

Your normal email password

The same one EarthLink webmail accepts. No app password is needed unless you have enabled two-factor authentication on your account.
