What are my Ziggo IMAP settings?

IMAP is imap.ziggo.nl on port 993 (SSL); SMTP is smtp.ziggo.nl on port 587 with STARTTLS and authentication. The username is your full address, including legacy home.nl or upcmail.nl domains. We detect these automatically.

Will my Ziggo address keep working?

As long as your Ziggo internet subscription runs, yes, and old home.nl, chello.nl, casema.nl and upcmail.nl addresses stay active too. If you cancel, Ziggo closes the mailbox six months later with no paid option to keep it.

Does the Ziggo calendar work with my assistant?

Yes. Ziggo publishes CalDAV at sync.ziggo.nl with the same login as your mailbox, so listing events and creating new ones works once connected.

Your Ziggo address

ziggo.nl addresses and the heritage domains home.nl, upcmail.nl, chello.nl, casema.nl, quicknet.nl and a2000.nl all use the same servers, imap.ziggo.nl and smtp.ziggo.nl.

Your mailbox password

Ziggo has no app passwords: use the password of the e-mail address itself, the one that opens mail.ziggo.nl. You create addresses and reset passwords in Mijn Ziggo.

An active Ziggo subscription

Ziggo Mail is tied to a running internet subscription. After you cancel, the mailbox keeps working for six months and then closes for good, so plan a migration if you are leaving.
