Connect your Daum Mail email to Claude & ChatGPT
Daum Mail carries daum.net and the classic hanmail.net addresses, and since January 2025 it only accepts app passwords over IMAP. Create one from your Kakao account, and anymailmcp.com connects your Daum inbox to Claude, ChatGPT or Vibe.

Before you connect
What you need
Enable IMAP in Daum Mail settings
In Daum Mail open "환경설정", then the "IMAP/POP3" settings, and switch IMAP use on before connecting.
An app password (앱 비밀번호)
Turn on 2-step verification (2단계 인증) for your Kakao account, then create an app password under 카카오계정, 2단계 인증, 앱 비밀번호. Paste it here; your normal account password is refused over IMAP and SMTP.
Daum Mail works best with a revocable app password.

Daum retired its CalDAV calendar sync back in 2015, and neither today's Daum 캘린더 nor Kakao's 톡캘린더 offers CalDAV, so this connection is email only.
