What are my UKR.NET IMAP settings?

IMAP is imap.ukr.net on port 993 (SSL); SMTP is smtp.ukr.net on port 465. Auto-detected from your address.

Why is my normal UKR.NET password rejected?

Since 18 February 2020 UKR.NET only accepts app-specific passwords from external programs. Create one under "Керування IMAP-доступом" in the security settings and use it instead of your account password.

Receiving works but sending fails. Why?

UKR.NET requires the SMTP username to be your full address in lowercase, and it must match the from address on the account. If your network blocks port 465, UKR.NET also accepts SMTP on port 2525.

UKR.NET has no public CalDAV service, so calendar sync is not available. Email works fully.

What you need

Enable IMAP access

In webmail open the menu (three lines, top right), then "Налаштування безпеки" (security settings), then "Керування IMAP-доступом", and switch on "Доступ для зовнішніх програм".

Create a password for programs

On the same page click "Створити пароль", confirm with your main password and name the app. Paste the generated code here; your main UKR.NET password has not worked over IMAP since 2020.
