What are my Sina IMAP settings?

IMAP is imap.sina.com on port 993 (SSL); SMTP is smtp.sina.com on port 465. VIP accounts use imap.vip.sina.com; we detect the right host from your address.

Do I need an authorization code?

Newer Sina accounts issue a client authorization code when IMAP is enabled; older ones accept the mailbox password. The IMAP settings page in your webmail tells you which applies.

Does sina.cn work too?

Yes, sina.cn addresses use the same servers and the same steps.

Your password or client authorization code

Depending on your account, Sina accepts your mailbox password or issues a client authorization code when you enable IMAP. Use whichever the settings page gives you.
