What are my 163.com IMAP settings?

IMAP is imap.163.com on port 993 (SSL); SMTP is smtp.163.com on port 465. 126.com uses imap.126.com, and yeah.net uses imap.yeah.net; we detect the right one from your address.

Why is my password rejected?

NetEase requires the authorization code (授权码) for IMAP clients, not your login password. Enable IMAP/SMTP in settings to get one.

In NetEase webmail: 设置, POP3/SMTP/IMAP, then enable the IMAP/SMTP service. NetEase confirms with an SMS.

Your authorization code (授权码)

Issued when you enable IMAP. Paste it here as the password; your webmail login password is rejected over IMAP.
