What are my Intermedia IMAP settings?

IMAP on port 993 (SSL) and SMTP on port 587 (STARTTLS), on a server name specific to your account, shaped like mailNNN.exchNNN.serverdata.net. Intermedia does not publish it: take it from your webmail (OWA) address or from HostPilot, and enter it under Advanced configuration.

IMAP and SMTP switched on by your admin

On Hosted Exchange mailboxes the admin must tick POP/IMAP in HostPilot (Services → Mailboxes → your mailbox → Advanced Settings), and SMTP is off by default for Exchange mailboxes until the admin enables it. Primary two-factor authentication can also block mail-program connections.

Your server name

Intermedia keeps server names out of its public articles; they look like mailNNN.exchNNN.serverdata.net. Read yours from your webmail (OWA) address, the part after https:// up to the next slash, or ask your admin to look in HostPilot. Enter it under Advanced configuration, with IMAP on 993 and SMTP on 587.
