What you need
Check that IMAP is included
Free @aruba.it mailboxes include IMAP, and so do domains bought since June 2017. Custom domains on Hosting Basic bought before then need the paid Email IMAP service on the domain; without it only POP works. PEC mailboxes have IMAP on by default, but it can be switched off in Webmail PEC.
Your mailbox password
Use your full address and the normal mailbox password; standard mailboxes have no app passwords. On a PEC mailbox with two-step verification on, the mailbox password is refused: create a "password per programmi di posta" (valid 6 months) and use that.
The right server for your address
Custom-domain mailboxes use imaps.aruba.it and smtps.aruba.it. Free @aruba.it addresses use imap.aruba.it and smtp.aruba.it, and @pec.it addresses use imaps.pec.aruba.it and smtps.pec.aruba.it. Enter the right pair under Advanced configuration if autodiscovery misses it.

Aruba webmail calendars sync over CalDAV at syncdav.aruba.it with your full address and mailbox password, the same login as IMAP. If the calendar does not attach on its own, enter https://syncdav.aruba.it as the CalDAV URL under Advanced configuration.
