Your CalDAV calendar in Claude: iCloud, OVH, Gandi, Infomaniak and more

Your hosting provider ships a CalDAV calendar alongside your mailbox, but no AI assistant can see it. Here is how to bring your iCloud, Gandi, Infomaniak or OVH calendar into Claude in one minute.

Here is something most people never notice: the mailbox you pay your hosting provider for almost always comes with a calendar attached. Gandi, Infomaniak, iCloud, one.com and most cPanel hosts all run one quietly in the background. You just never open it, because your day already lives in Apple Calendar or on your phone. That calendar speaks CalDAV, the open standard for scheduling, and it is exactly the thing your AI assistant has never been able to see. This is how you fix that.

You already have a calendar, you just can't reach it from Claude

When you set up email at a hosting provider, a calendar usually comes with it on the same login. Gandi runs SOGo. Infomaniak serves yours from sync.infomaniak.com. Apple keeps iCloud calendars at caldav.icloud.com. one.com and most cPanel hosts ship one as well. It is real, it syncs to your phone, and it holds the appointments you actually keep.

The problem is the same one that keeps these mailboxes out of AI assistants: there is no self-serve OAuth button for a third-party app to press, so Claude, ChatGPT and Le Chat simply cannot see it. Google Calendar has a native connector; your provider's CalDAV calendar does not. The events are right there, and your assistant is blind to every one of them.

We discover your calendar during the same one-minute connect

You do not do anything extra. When you connect your mailbox at anymailmcp.com, we take the same email and password and auto-discover the CalDAV calendar that ships with it, then verify it live. There is no second login, no server address to look up, no ICS link to paste. If your provider has a calendar, it comes online in the same minute your inbox does, and your assistant gains the ability to read your schedule and create events on it.

Connecting is three moves: add https://anymailmcp.com/mcp as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT (Developer mode) or Le Chat, click connect, and enter your mailbox once on our page. Email and calendar arrive together.

What you can ask

Once the calendar is connected, planning becomes a sentence instead of a chore. You can ask things like:

  • "What does my week look like?"
  • "Book lunch with Marco on Friday at 1pm."
  • "Add the dentist appointment from this email to my calendar."
  • "Am I free Thursday afternoon? If so, hold two hours for the proposal."
  • "Move my 3pm call to tomorrow and tell me if it clashes with anything."

The last few are where it earns its keep: because your assistant can read your inbox and your calendar at once, it can lift an appointment straight out of a confirmation email and place it on the right day, with the right time and title, without you retyping a thing.

The calendar is in the free tier

You do not pay to try this. The full calendar is included in the free plan, alongside one mailbox and every tool except sending, within 15 calls a day (45 a week, 150 a month) and with no card required. Reading your week, checking if you are free, and adding events all count as ordinary calls. If you outgrow the limits, Solo is 4.99 € a month excluding VAT and lifts everything to unlimited, including calls, mailboxes and sending, and a Team plan is coming soon.

An honest note: not every provider has one

A calendar only appears if your provider actually runs one, and a few do not. Legacy OVH MX Plan mailboxes have no CalDAV calendar, though the newer Zimbra platform does; the full OVH picture is in Claude can't read your OVH email. Plesk servers only include a calendar when the Kolab groupware component is installed, which many are not, and some budget hosts like LWS ship mail without CalDAV at all. In every one of these cases the connect still works: you get the full email experience, and the calendar tools simply stay quiet rather than pointing at something that is not there. We detect what exists and set up only that.

If you are not sure what your provider offers, the fastest answer is to connect and look. Discovery is automatic, and if there is a calendar behind your mailbox, it will be there.

Your schedule has been sitting one login away from your inbox this whole time. Connect your mailbox, free and let Claude see your week, or compare the free and Solo plans.
